Job Description

Towne Park, LLC is a well-established hospitality services company with nearly 40 years of experience in delivering exceptional parking and hospitality-focused solutions across various environments such as places where people live, learn, work, play, rejuvenate, and recover. With a dedicated team of 14,000 employees, Towne Park is committed to creating positive and memorable experiences by providing outstanding customer service and operational excellence. The company embodies a culture that values making an impact every day by bringing smiles to the faces of guests, patients, family members, and colleagues alike. Towne Park operates with an emphasis on professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness, which are the cornerstone values that reflect the company’s promise to its clientele.

Currently, Towne Park is hiring Hotel Valet Attendants, also known as Guest Service Associates, for the JW Marriott Downtown Austin. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment where the core responsibility involves delivering outstanding service to hotel guests. The position is available for both full-time and part-time schedules, providing flexible working hours tailored to meet the needs of the team members. Compensation ranges from $10 to $13 per hour in base pay, with an additional $14 to $16 per hour in tips, and some locations may offer shift pay differentials to reward flexible and premium time shifts. Shifts vary and include options such as early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight hours, with specific schedules to be discussed during the interview process.

As a Hotel Valet Attendant at Towne Park, you will be the face of hospitality excellence by greeting guests warmly, welcoming them by name when appropriate, and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times. Your primary duty will be parking and retrieving vehicles efficiently and safely, but your role extends beyond that to assisting with luggage, delivering guest amenities, and providing helpful directions or local information to travelers. Additionally, part of your responsibilities will include explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly to guests, issuing, and collecting claim checks, and ensuring that all ticket information is accurate and well-maintained. You will also handle payment collection when required. This blend of guest interaction and operational tasks divides the workload approximately into 35% ticketing and revenue tasks, 25% guest services, and 20% parking and bell services.

The role demands someone who is physically capable of working outdoors for extended periods under varying weather conditions. The job requires frequent standing, walking, running, and occasional heavy lifting, with a maximum lift of up to 100 pounds occasionally. You should be comfortable operating a manual transmission vehicle and performing parallel parking maneuvers, which are essential skills for successful valet operations. Furthermore, Towne Park fosters an inclusive work environment and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including veterans and those with disabilities. The company offers reasonable accommodations for employees and applicants when needed.

Towne Park provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility for these benefits depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked, with seasonal and temporary roles excluded.

Joining Towne Park as a Hotel Valet Attendant means not just taking a job but stepping into an opportunity where you can influence every guest's day positively by offering exemplary service. You will be part of a large, committed team that values its people and strives to deliver exceptional experiences around the clock. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy interacting with diverse guests, and are adaptable to various shifts and working conditions, Towne Park invites you to apply and participate in their hiring event for a rewarding career.
