Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
- Ability to operate UPS delivery vehicle safely
- Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Capability to work full-time hours and overtime during peak seasons
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam
- Experience operating delivery trucks preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles if required
- Capability to lift and carry packages safely
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices for delivery tracking
Job Duties
- Operate UPS delivery trucks safely and efficiently following assigned routes
- Load and unload packages carefully ensuring no damage
- Use handheld scanners to track, confirm, and document deliveries and pickups
- Meet daily delivery quotas by working effectively within scheduled routes
- Adhere to all UPS safety procedures and Department of Transportation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during all interactions
- Maintain a professional appearance and company representation standards
