Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
  • Ability to operate UPS delivery vehicle safely
  • Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Capability to work full-time hours and overtime during peak seasons

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam
  • Experience operating delivery trucks preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles if required
  • Capability to lift and carry packages safely
  • Ability to use handheld electronic devices for delivery tracking

Job Duties

  • Operate UPS delivery trucks safely and efficiently following assigned routes
  • Load and unload packages carefully ensuring no damage
  • Use handheld scanners to track, confirm, and document deliveries and pickups
  • Meet daily delivery quotas by working effectively within scheduled routes
  • Adhere to all UPS safety procedures and Department of Transportation regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during all interactions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and company representation standards
