Job Requirements

  • Valid DVM license for New Mexico

Job Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • valid license to practice veterinary medicine in New Mexico
  • excellent communication skills with clients and team members
  • demonstrated passion for veterinary care and client education
  • strong interest or experience in mixed animal practice with focus on small animals, exotics, and equine
  • professional and community-oriented work ethic

Job Duties

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care for small animals, livestock, and exotic species
  • conduct diagnostics and treatments using modern equipment including digital radiography and ultrasound
  • participate in shared after-hours on-call and emergency coverage
  • educate clients on animal health and wellness
  • collaborate with a skilled support team to ensure effective patient care
  • engage in continuous professional development and mentorship activities
  • maintain accurate medical records and comply with veterinary regulations
