Job Duties
- Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of residents
- Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assist with immediate needs or contact emergency support
- Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and use of mobility aids
- Serve residents meals, take orders, assist throughout dining experience
- Provide customer service to residents for high satisfaction while serving meals
- Set and reset tables for meals
- Clear and bus tables as needed
- Assist with cleaning dining area after meals
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas per schedule
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors
- Launder residents’ clothing, linen, and towels, fold and return
- Clean common areas, public bathrooms, windows, floors, light fixtures
- Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures
- Report on-the-job injuries before shift end
- Respond to resident emergencies with first aid and arrange medical attention
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and in-services
- Perform other duties as assigned
