Job Description

Truist Financial Corporation is a leading bank holding company formed through the merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks. It operates as a comprehensive financial services provider serving retail and commercial clients across the United States with a wide range of products including banking, wealth management, and insurance solutions. Truist prides itself on delivering personalized client experiences, leveraging innovative technology, and maintaining strong community relationships. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion and offers career opportunities that support professional growth and work-life balance.

The role available is a regular, first-shift Client Service position focused on providing exceptional transactional services to clients while supporting the sales process and integrated relationship management activities. The primary responsibility of the Client Service representative is to ensure timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal controls and operational procedures. This position demands superior customer service skills, the ability to identify client financial needs, and the flexibility to assist with outbound calling and support of cross-functional retail banking initiatives. Employees in this role will engage clients with a warm and friendly approach, educate clients about digital self-service options, and participate in community bank leadership routines aimed at enhancing client satisfaction and business growth.

The Client Service representative will play a vital role in Truist’s retail banking strategy by offering assistance in account openings, problem resolution, and client referrals to appropriate team members or product specialists. The position also provides opportunities for continuous professional development through training classes, sales and service meetings, and web-based learning tools to improve product knowledge and customer support capabilities. Candidates are expected to have solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and be able to multitask and perform under time constraints. The role also requires availability for occasional travel, extended hours, or weekend work as necessary to meet branch operational demands.

Truist offers a competitive benefits package to eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Staff also receive paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays, helping foster a healthy work-life balance. This position emphasizes collaboration, client focus, and a commitment to compliance and risk management, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, client-centered financial environments. Truist is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. The hiring process involves application, profile creation, and communication through the Truist careers platform, with accommodations available for applicants requiring assistance.
