Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to work flexible hours including during academic peak periods
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Willingness to learn and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle food safely if required by location
- Capacity to lift frequently and remain in stationary positions for extended periods
- Ability to perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Reliable availability to work on a weekly basis year-round
Job Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment
- Previous food handling experience preferred
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
Job Duties
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
- Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
- Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
- Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
- Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Work flexible schedules including peak periods throughout the academic year
