Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to work flexible hours including during academic peak periods
  • Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
  • Willingness to learn and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle food safely if required by location
  • Capacity to lift frequently and remain in stationary positions for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties
  • Reliable availability to work on a weekly basis year-round

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment
  • Previous food handling experience preferred
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
  • An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
  • Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit
  • Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
  • Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques
  • Set up or restock displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal
  • Work flexible schedules including peak periods throughout the academic year
