The role available is that of a Unit General Manager I for Food and Beverage, reporting to senior leadership personnel including the Site General Manager, Director of Operations, and Plaza Director. The role is exempt and plays a crucial leadership part in overseeing all facets of airport operations related to Food and Beverage services. The Unit General Manager will be accountable for driving exceptional business results, managing financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence aligned with company policies. In this capacity, the manager will hold full responsibility for achieving financial, operational, and guest service objectives within their unit. This includes leading strategic initiatives aimed at training and professional development to cultivate a workforce that consistently delivers premium service exceeding company standards.

The Unit General Manager will be tasked with directing and mentoring the management team to ensure operational efficiency and support career growth opportunities. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to maintaining sanitation and safety standards, handling client and customer concerns, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and liquor regulations. The manager will also be responsible for coordinating opening and closing procedures, security standards, and overseeing employee performance feedback and discipline as needed. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience

Job Duties

  • Follow all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
  • Oversee food usage and verify and oversee reconciliation process for deliveries
  • Resolve immediate customer concerns about food quality or service following company standards
  • Maintain sanitation standards throughout shifts and complete required documentation
  • Supervise staff during shifts to ensure health and safety standards and liquor regulations where applicable are followed according to state and local guidelines
  • Complete shift-related paperwork, including forms and reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report supply levels for tableware, cooking utensils and cleaning items
  • Report maintenance and repair needs for equipment and facilities
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain security standards
  • Provide feedback on team member performance
  • Make employment and termination recommendations consistent with company guidelines
  • Monitor staff compliance with company dress code guidelines
  • Assist with on-the-job training for new team members
  • Monitor food preparation and methods to ensure compliance with brand and company specifications and standards
  • Forecast labor and staff schedule appropriately as business dictates in compliance with CBS if applicable
  • Responsible for onboarding and continued development of associates assigned to their concept
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
