Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved CNA program
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nevada
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to provide care according to patient age group served on the unit
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow state and hospital guidelines and protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved CNA program and certification
  • Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology proficiency
  • Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care to patients on the assigned unit
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing unit activities
  • Perform clerical and receptionist duties to support nursing staff
  • Provide patient care and service activities as directed by state guidelines
  • Coordinate communication between patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and unit activities
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
  • Support nursing staff with essential unit operations and patient needs
