Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nevada
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to provide care according to patient age group served on the unit
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow state and hospital guidelines and protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA program and certification
- Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology proficiency
- Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care to patients on the assigned unit
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Duties
- Assist with planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing unit activities
- Perform clerical and receptionist duties to support nursing staff
- Provide patient care and service activities as directed by state guidelines
- Coordinate communication between patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and unit activities
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Support nursing staff with essential unit operations and patient needs
