Job Description

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a prominent 336-bed hospital located in Northwest Las Vegas and is part of the Valley Health System, which encompasses seven hospitals. This facility is committed to providing a wide array of quality medical services, with a specialized focus on comprehensive women's healthcare services, such as digital mammography, gynecologic care, and gynecologic surgery. Notably, the Women’s Center at Centennial Hills Hospital offers extensive maternity services including labor and delivery, recovery units, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a distinguished Level III neonatal intensive care unit. This ensures that patients receive top-tier care throughout the entire childbirth process, as well as for critically ill newborns.

Beyond women’s health, this hospital is recognized for its community-focused initiatives, most notably being the first tobacco-free campus in Nevada, which highlights its commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles. The hospital's excellence has been acknowledged nationally as a High Performing Hospital for Heart Failure, Stroke, and Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report for 2022-2023. Centennial Hills Hospital operates under the umbrella of the Valley Health System, which is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). With a robust culture anchored in service excellence, all employees adhere to values focusing on professionalism, teamwork, and treating everyone with utmost respect and care.

The role available at Centennial Hills Hospital is integral to the smooth operation of the nursing unit. This position primarily involves assisting with the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluation of nursing unit activities through a combination of clerical, receptionist, and patient care duties. The position demands a keen ability to manage patient interactions professionally while maintaining accurate records and supporting nursing staff in delivering excellent care. Candidates for this role will be responsible for ensuring that daily operations within the nursing environment are efficient and adhere to the healthcare standards and protocols established by both the hospital and state regulations.

This opportunity offers a challenging yet rewarding work environment where employees play a crucial role in impacting patient outcomes positively. Employees benefit from competitive compensation packages, generous paid time off, and excellent medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match, a discounted stock purchase plan, the SoFi Student Loan Refinancing Program, and career development opportunities across the vast UHS network of over 300 subsidiaries nationwide. Centennial Hills Hospital is committed to fostering a workplace where all team members can thrive professionally and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of the community they serve.
