Job Description
Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is a prominent 336-bed hospital located in Northwest Las Vegas and is part of the Valley Health System, which encompasses seven hospitals. This facility is committed to providing a wide array of quality medical services, with a specialized focus on comprehensive women's healthcare services, such as digital mammography, gynecologic care, and gynecologic surgery. Notably, the Women’s Center at Centennial Hills Hospital offers extensive maternity services including labor and delivery, recovery units, antepartum and postpartum care, a newborn nursery, and a distinguished Level III neonatal intensive care unit. This ensures that patients receive top-tier care throughout the entire childbirth process, as well as for critically ill newborns.

The role available at Centennial Hills Hospital is integral to the smooth operation of the nursing unit. This position primarily involves assisting with the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluation of nursing unit activities through a combination of clerical, receptionist, and patient care duties. The position demands a keen ability to manage patient interactions professionally while maintaining accurate records and supporting nursing staff in delivering excellent care. Candidates for this role will be responsible for ensuring that daily operations within the nursing environment are efficient and adhere to the healthcare standards and protocols established by both the hospital and state regulations.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
- current CNA license in the State of Nevada
- current BLS certification
- basic PC knowledge
- medical terminology understanding
- ability to perform duties according to patient age group
- ability to work with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or non-intact skin
- adherence to UHS service excellence standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- completion of necessary education/experience for CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
- current CNA license in the State of Nevada
- current BLS certification
- basic PC knowledge
- understanding of medical terminology
- ability to demonstrate skills appropriate to patient age served
