Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
  • current CNA license in the State of Nevada
  • current BLS certification
  • basic PC knowledge
  • medical terminology understanding
  • ability to perform duties according to patient age group
  • ability to work with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or non-intact skin
  • adherence to UHS service excellence standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • completion of necessary education/experience for CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
  • current CNA license in the State of Nevada
  • current BLS certification
  • basic PC knowledge
  • understanding of medical terminology
  • ability to demonstrate skills appropriate to patient age served

Job Duties

  • assist in planning nursing unit activities
  • organize and implement nursing unit procedures
  • perform clerical and receptionist duties
  • provide patient care and service activities as outlined by the state
  • maintain accurate patient records
  • support nursing staff to ensure quality care
  • communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
