The role at Summerlin Hospital is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who will assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activities within the nursing unit. Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Completion of education and experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
- Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS certification
- Basic PC knowledge
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to demonstrate skills necessary for patient care appropriate to assigned unit and patient age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from Nevada Board of Nursing
- Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care according to patient needs
