This position is for a full-time sales associate role, based in the Century City store and reporting directly to the Store Manager. As a key member of the retail team, the sales associate serves as a specialist in customer service, responsible for ensuring an exceptional shopping experience by understanding and anticipating customer needs. This role involves engaging with customers to provide detailed product knowledge, demonstrating UNIQLO's service standards, and guiding customers through their purchase decisions to close sales effectively. A sales associate at UNIQLO is not only tasked with direct sales activities but also supports store operations such as processing shipments, managing product displays in full size ranges, and maintaining fitting room standards. When needed, associates act as cashiers, following company protocols to ensure smooth transactions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 months retail or related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capability to read computer terminals
- Ability to push, pull, move, lift or carry objects of at least 25 pounds
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom involving repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Open availability on weekends
- Average 32 or more hours per week
- Limited availability restrictions, with only one restriction permitted Friday-Sunday except religious exemptions

Job Duties
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Maintain brand and operational standards including visual and cleanliness
- Pro-actively manage customer needs and utilize UNIQLO service standards
- Assist with fitting room standards and provide support when needed
- Act as cashier following protocols when required
- Process shipments and ensure merchandise is displayed in full size runs
- Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues
- Provide product and brand knowledge to customers
- Follow company policies and notify management of infractions
- Assist with special projects assigned by management
