The Server role at Hyatt Vacation Ownership is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals who excel in customer service within a casual full-service restaurant environment. This role offers an hourly wage of $16.50 and involves ensuring that guests receive attentiveness and quality service throughout their dining experience. Servers are responsible for precise order-taking, delivering food and beverages promptly, and employing suggestive-selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and boost revenue. Maintaining a clean and organized dining environment is also part of the daily responsibilities, ensuring that stations and tables are fully prepared before service begins and continuously replenished throughout shifts.
Beyond routine tasks, the Server will use point-of-sale systems accurately for order entry and payment processing, demonstrating technological competence alongside exceptional interpersonal skills. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a food server within a casual full-service restaurant environment required
- must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace
- ability to work weekends, holidays and a flex shift if needed
- knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations and policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons

Job Duties
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete, replenished, and ready for service at the start of the shift
- perform side duties such as buffing glassware, silverware, and roll-ups
- accurately take food and beverage orders using suggestive-selling techniques
- serve all food and beverage requests while adhering to service timing standards
- pre-bus all tables throughout the guests dining service and clear tables after guest service completion
- enter guest orders accurately into point-of-sale systems and process payments securely
- routinely ensure guest satisfaction and initiate recoveries when issues arise
- maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and guest-service equipment
