Job Requirements

  • Valid ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 License
  • Proactive and self-starting attitude
  • Ability to focus and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must join Local 3 Operating Engineers through District 17-Oahu
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 License
  • ACI Post Installed Anchor Installation
  • ICC Soils Inspector License is a plus
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete
  • ICC Prestressed/Post-Tension
  • ICC Structural Steel and Bolting
  • ICC Structural Steel and Welding
  • ICC Commercial Building
  • AWS/CWI Certified
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors, and potential clients
  • Must join Local 3 Operating Engineers through District 17-Oahu

Job Duties

  • Provide sampling and quality control of concrete and soils
  • Report on preparation of special inspections in accordance with approved project documents
  • Provide as needed support to the Project Manager to ensure the approved testing program is fulfilled based on the construction schedule and sequencing pertaining to this work
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports, laboratory testing reports and related project documents including but not limited to responses to RFI, test results from materials and certification of materials
  • amended documents, deferred approvals, welding procedures
  • approved concrete mix designs
