Job Description
FIFA World Cup 26™ represents a historic milestone in the world of international soccer, being the first edition to feature an expanded roster of 48 teams and hosted collectively by three countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This unprecedented collaboration across North America aims to unite fans and players from all over the globe through the power and passion of the world's greatest sporting event. The organizational spirit behind FIFA World Cup 26™ is not only about the game but about fostering a community, delivering world-class experiences, and pushing the boundaries of inclusivity and operational excellence. At the heart of these efforts is the Uniform Operations team, a critical force committed to ensuring that every workforce member and volunteer is outfitted with the highest quality uniforms in a seamless and memorable manner.
The FIFA World Cup 26™ Uniform Operations department offers key roles including Uniforms Manager, Deputy Manager, and Coordinator for the Uniform Distribution Center (UDC). These positions are integral to the efficient functioning of this large-scale event, responsible for managing everything from inventory and logistics to frontline distribution and volunteer coordination. The Uniform Distribution Center Manager leads the effort, overseeing all operational aspects including check-in, fitting rooms, uniform collection, and check-out stations to guarantee a smooth experience. They ensure the highest quality standards are met while fostering a spirit of teamwork and service excellence among their staff and volunteers.
Supporting them, the Deputy Manager focuses on product management and logistics, ensuring that inventory flows efficiently and back-of-house operations run without a hitch. Meanwhile, the Coordinator plays a vital supportive role, managing volunteer operations, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining client flow to ensure every workforce member has a positive and world-class service experience.
These roles require individuals who embody the FIFA World Cup 26 Skills Framework, which emphasizes accountability, swift decision making, inclusivity, initiative, innovation, leadership, and vision. Team members are expected to take responsibility for their actions, exhibit leadership by empowering others, embrace innovative solutions, communicate effectively across organizational levels, and consistently pursue improvement. They operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration are essential.
Employment type for these roles is fixed term contract, reflecting the project-based nature of the tournament operations. Positions are located onsite across all host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, enabling close coordination with the event's hubs and ensuring real-time operational responsiveness. Candidates fluent in English are preferred, with additional Spanish and/or French proficiency considered an asset given the multinational scope.
Joining the FIFA World Cup 26 Uniform Operations team means contributing to an extraordinary global event that sets new standards in sport and organizational excellence. It offers a unique opportunity to develop professionally in logistics, distribution, and event operations within a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. FIFA26 pride themselves on being an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to creating an environment where every person can thrive regardless of their background or identity.
