Who We're Looking For We are seeking an Insurance Filing Specialist to join our remote team. This role requires someone comfortable working from home and capable of engaging calmly and professionally over the phone with damagers to gather necessary insurance information. The ideal candidate is a true team player eager to contribute meaningfully both to the department and the company. The Insurance Filing Specialist will be responsible for analyzing claims, locating insurance details, and filing insurance claims appropriately using our proprietary Beyond platform.

On a typical day, the Insurance Filing Specialist will utilize the Beyond platform to cross-reference insurance information, especially on repeat damagers. The specialist will analyze claim activities to identify general contractors and request Certificates of Insurance from these parties. Filing insurance claims accurately and sending subrogation documents will also be key duties. Additionally, the specialist will input insurance information and assign proper claim codes within our system and assist supervisors and team members as needed.

This position offers a bonus structure based on performance metrics, encouraging and rewarding productivity. The bonus scales are set twice a month with clear levels and corresponding payout amounts, motivating employees to excel consistently.

The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, skillful internet searching, and excellent communication skills to interact professionally with damagers, insurance representatives, and internal staff. Independence in work approach, strong analytical capabilities, meticulous data entry and review skills, and organizational abilities are essential. This position also involves extended periods of computer-based work requiring sustained focus and accurate communication.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of customer service experience. Prior experience in insurance is preferred but not mandatory.
