The Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation Coordinator plays a critical role in the planning and execution of large-scale recruitment and orientation events that introduce prospective and incoming students to the university. This full-time position offers a salary range of $45,000 to $48,000 annually and is classified within the UT Market Range MR06. The Coordinator will work closely with lead event planners to ensure seamless organization and coordination of both on-campus and off-campus events, such as New Student Orientation, Blue and Gold Preview, Accepted Student Day, and the Power C Road Trip. Key responsibilities include managing schedules and materials, coordinating with internal departments like Marketing and Communication as well as external partners, and overseeing the production and distribution of print and digital publications related to recruitment efforts.

In addition to event coordination, the role also encompasses comprehensive office management duties. The Coordinator will be responsible for handling administrative tasks including processing invoices, managing contracts, overseeing time sheets, and maintaining inventory of office materials. They will also manage the office staff calendar to ensure adequate staffing for recruitment programs and events. Supervision responsibilities involve indirect oversight of graduate assistants, NODA Interns, and student leaders, as well as assisting with the recruitment, selection, and training of undergraduate staff such as Campus Tour Guides and Orientation Leaders.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of admissions processes, enrollment management strategies, student development theory, and event planning and management. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Banner 9, and Banner Xtender is required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to lead and self-direct in a dynamic environment. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across departments.

Job Duties
