The role available is a full-time Security Guard position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM, with an hourly wage of $19.50. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of designated indoor and outdoor areas. This position requires an individual who can effectively patrol premises, monitor activity including passengers and bus operations, enforce company policies such as the Standard Code of Conduct, and quickly respond to potential security breaches or emergencies. The Security Guard will be required to submit detailed incident reports within 24 hours and collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Monitoring surveillance systems is also a key part of the duties, ensuring a proactive approach to security management.
This role demands physical readiness, with the ability to kneel, bend, carry items, walk, and stand for extended periods. Communication skills are essential as the Security Guard will frequently inform personnel and visitors about security procedures while demonstrating flexibility in handling various security duties. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED at minimum, be at least 18 years old, and able to pass background checks. Advanced training in responding to security threats and breaches is important, making this a position suited for individuals who are vigilant, responsive, and professional.
Windwalker Group values applicants who bring relevant experience and certifications such as CPR, First Aid, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or certifications in ACT levels I, II, or III. An associate degree or higher in criminal justice or related fields, prior experience with security systems and surveillance equipment, and customer service skills are highly regarded.
