The Ultra Lounge General Manager is responsible for guiding a talented team of service professionals, providing strategic direction that aligns with MGM Resorts’ luxury standards. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations such as labor productivity, scheduling, and inventory control, while also driving innovative marketing strategies and collaborative initiatives with property departments including Food & Beverage, Marketing, Entertainment, and VIP Services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a lounge team
  • Experience in high-volume lounge environments
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies

Job Duties

  • Owns, leads, and oversees daily lounge operations, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and the execution and development of marketing strategies to drive profitability
  • Conducts meetings with the Marketing Team and VIP Services department
  • Responsible for the execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, rules, and regulations for lounge staff
  • Owns the lounge’s execution of Food & Beverage and company-wide initiatives and programs while developing promotions and sales strategies to enhance revenue and guest engagement
  • Maintains highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout all beverage service areas
  • Manages Human Resources responsibilities, including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
  • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the overall lounge experience
  • Responds to guest concerns and manages guest feedback channels
  • Collaborates with Beverage Leadership, VIP Services, Entertainment, and other operational teams
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of the venue’s food and beverage offerings, specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, entertainment programming, and necessary equipment
