Job Qualifications

- knowledge of cleaning solutions and floor care products
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving furniture
Job Duties
- perform a variety of janitorial duties such as sweep, strip, seal, wax and polish floors
- collect refuse
- clean washrooms
- clean air ducts and venetian blinds
- wash light fixtures and wax desks
- use electric floor polisher, brooms, mops, dust pan, hand truck, ladders, buckets, brushes, and power cleaning equipment
- maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition
- work from scaffolding and ladders as required
