This division is actively looking for a Janitor to join their team in Linthicum, Maryland. This role is an essential position within Northrop Grumman, supporting the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility to help sustain a safe, orderly, and productive working environment.

The Janitor at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems will perform various cleaning duties, including sweeping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors; collecting refuse; cleaning washrooms; maintaining air ducts and venetian blinds; washing light fixtures; and polishing desks. The role requires the use of various cleaning tools and equipment such as electric floor polishers, brooms, mops, dust pans, hand trucks, ladders, buckets, and power cleaning devices alongside the necessary cleaning solutions, floor care products, and safety equipment. In this capacity, the janitor will also be responsible for moving furniture to access areas needed for cleaning, maintaining the workspace and equipment, and performing tasks safely using ladders and scaffolding where required.

This role is designated as a second shift position and is also represented by the IUE union.
