This opportunity is for a General Manager position located at 19000 Rockside Rd, Bedford, Ohio. The General Manager will oversee the operations of one of U-Haul's moving and storage centers, ensuring it runs profitably and efficiently. This role involves hiring and mentoring staff, managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and addressing problems promptly as they arise. The position offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment characterized by fast-paced, varied daily activities. U-Haul emphasizes a motto of 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast,' allowing new hires to start immediately and receive payment promptly after working interviews. As part of the compensation package, new General Managers are eligible for a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completing U-Haul's Equipment Inspection and Verification certification program.
