The role of Janitor/Busser at Twin Peaks is fundamental to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards essential to the restaurant's reputation. As a Janitor/Busser, team members at Twin Peaks wear the essential hat of cleanliness champions, tasked with adhering strictly to health and safety standards including Handwashing of Hands (HOH), Safety and Sanitation protocols, and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) requirements. Team members support restaurant operations by assisting with opening and closing duties such as restocking the bar, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables. Additionally, they are trained via tablets or computers to efficiently perform their duties and are expected to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
This role also demands individuals who can communicate effectively in English to understand cleaning protocols, food preparation recipes, and line procedures. Physical stamina is vital as the job involves standing, walking, lifting items up to 15 pounds, and handling chemicals and equipment. Employees must maintain a neat uniform appearance and comply with all company policies, especially those related to harassment, drug and alcohol abuse, and workplace conduct.

Job Requirements
- Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks HOH training
- Must attend and successfully complete the HOH training program prior to working a shift without supervision
- Must successfully attend and complete any and all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job including standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 15 pounds
- Must maintain uniform standards including clean hat, hair kept underneath hat, trimmed fingernails, no visible jewelry, clean non-faded/wrinkled shirt, and belt
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bar back
- Ability to communicate in English
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills to navigate training modules
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds
