Job Description

StudyPoint is a reputable tutoring company that has been dedicated to providing personalized, one-on-one academic support since 1999. They focus on helping students throughout the United States overcome educational challenges and prepare for high school or college admissions. With over two decades of experience, StudyPoint uses a comprehensive suite of effective tools and resources, having successfully assisted more than 55,000 students to reach their academic goals. This long-standing commitment has solidified StudyPoint's reputation as a leader in the tutoring industry, known for delivering customized tutoring experiences that meet the unique needs of each student.

StudyPoint's tutoring approach centers on tailoring educational support to individual learners, ensuring that instruction is both engaging and effective. Their tutors are part of an elite team recognized for their energetic and thoughtful teaching styles. They create positive and safe learning environments where students feel motivated and supported throughout their educational journey. The company emphasizes clear communication and responsiveness, promoting consistent dialogue between tutors, parents, and staff members to enhance student success.

This part-time tutoring role involves providing academic assistance and homework help in subjects such as math, language arts, science, social studies, and more for elementary and middle school students. Tutors typically conduct sessions in students’ homes, primarily serving areas including Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson, Garland, Arlington, Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Denton, Keller, and Southlake. Candidates are expected to design their own schedules within prime tutoring hours, which generally fall outside of regular school hours and on weekends. This includes availability between 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends, with a commitment of at least six hours per week.

StudyPoint values its tutors by employing them as W-2 employees rather than contractors, thereby providing paid training, support, and the opportunity to earn referral bonuses. The company supports tutors by assigning dedicated managers and mentors to guide them throughout their employment. Furthermore, tutors have the freedom to continue tutoring privately or with other organizations since StudyPoint does not enforce non-compete agreements. The hourly pay ranges from $28 to $32, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair compensation for qualified tutors.

Overall, this opportunity at StudyPoint offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about making an impactful difference in students’ academic lives. The role balances flexibility, professional support, and competitive pay within a company that prides itself on high standards and award-winning educational services. Prospective tutors who hold a bachelor’s degree and have experience teaching or tutoring elementary to middle school students will find this position particularly well-suited to their skills and ambitions.
