The role of the Turndown Attendant at Four Seasons San Francisco is an essential part of maintaining the elevated guest experience that the brand promises. This position focuses on the meticulous preparation and maintenance of guest rooms during the evening, ensuring an inviting and relaxing atmosphere for guests returning at the end of the day. Tasks include cleaning a set number of occupied rooms during shifts, replenishing towels and amenities, handling room service trays, preparing beds, and creating an overall welcoming environment by adjusting lighting, music, and curtains.

This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction. Turndown Attendants also assist with full room attendant duties when needed and are expected to comply with the company’s standards of conduct and operational rules. This position is hourly paid at a rate of $34.12 and includes a generous benefits package encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, parental leave, complimentary accommodations at other Four Seasons locations, employee meals, and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. Candidates with at least one year of housekeeping experience, preferably within luxury hotels, are encouraged to apply, along with those who demonstrate flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • minimum of one year of housekeeping experience
  • proficiency in English language reading, writing and speaking
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • capacity to handle stress in a high-volume work environment
  • ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively

Job Duties

  • Has a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift
  • removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet
  • wipes down any wet surfaces in the bathroom
  • folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot
  • removes room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
  • closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed
  • restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens
  • prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • performs full room attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
  • complies with Four Seasons's Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
