The Turndown Attendant Housekeeping role at San Manuel is pivotal in maintaining the luxurious standards expected of a 5-Star, 5-Diamond rated property. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Housekeeping, this position is responsible for providing impeccable turndown and cleaning services for both vacant and occupied rooms. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in cleaning guestrooms, making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring every guest room reflects the high standards of Forbes-rated service. This position plays a critical role in setting the evening environment for guests, creating a welcoming and restful ambiance that contributes to overall guest satisfaction. Beyond routine cleaning duties, the Turndown Attendant collaborates with team members across various departments to support the broader goals and priorities of the company, embodying the vision, mission, and values of the Tribe and San Manuel.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years housekeeping experience preferred
  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed
  • Ability to carry radio and wear earpiece discreetly
  • Compliance with OSHA chemical usage training and safety policies
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • No driving responsibilities required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Mobility to move safely in an office and hospitality environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience within an upscale hotel preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping service techniques and productivity expectations
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues
  • Personable and professional with discretion in communication

Job Duties

  • Clean all guestrooms, make beds, and provide clean terry and robes
  • Clean, dust, sanitize, collect garbage and replenish all collaterals, supplies, amenities, coffee pods and condiments
  • Respect all guest requests and preferences while adhering to enterprise policies and laws
  • Report maintenance issues to Office Coordinator or Supervisor
  • Provide turndown service in the evenings and prepare guestroom ambiance
  • Conduct constant inspections of assigned hotel guestrooms
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies following OSHA rules
  • Maintain and use equipment according to health and safety guidelines
  • Motivate employees to collaborate, learn, perform, and develop skills
  • Report all maintenance issues and guest requests appropriately
  • Perform other duties to support efficient department operations
