Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- excellent communication skills
- dependability and punctuality
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- basic english proficiency
- interpersonal skills
- ability to lift up to 40lb
- willingness to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- clean a set number of occupied rooms during a shift
- remove used towels and replace with clean ones
- wipe down wet surfaces in bathrooms
- fold clothing left in room and place appropriately
- remove room service trays, dishes, and carts to service landings
- close drapes, reduce lighting, turn on soft music, and prepare beds
- restock used amenities like shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, and pens
- prepare unoccupied rooms for turndown service for arriving guests
- perform full room attendant duties in occupied and late check-out rooms when needed
- assist with duties in lobby attendant, desk attendant, and house attendant areas during absence or high volume
