The Utility role at Truck Yard is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and guest experience the bar is known for. Utility team members support both bar and kitchen staff during busy periods, ensuring that the establishment runs smoothly and remains clean, well-maintained, and inviting for all patrons. The position includes a variety of responsibilities such as maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the bar, managing trash disposal, restocking supplies like paper towels and toilet paper, running ice to various parts of the yard, and keeping the outdoor seating areas orderly. Utility staff also assist in spill control and upkeep of break areas, working closely with management and kitchen teams to ensure the bar's operations remain efficient and enjoyable for guests.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Rubber-soled closed-toed shoes required
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Available to work high volume times including weekends
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a restaurant or bar considered a plus
- Rubber-soled closed-toed shoes required
- Strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work high volume times: days and evenings Fri, Saturday and Sunday
- Positive attitude and excellent communication and listening skills
- Self-motivated to identify areas needing cleaning or fixing
- Works well under direction of others
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Maintain trash cans inside and out by emptying them when necessary throughout the shift
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness during busy shifts by sweeping and mopping floors and emptying trash cans as necessary
- Maintain restroom cleanliness inside and in the Yard and ensure paper towels, trash cans, and toilet paper are stocked throughout the shift
- Run ice as needed to all areas of Truck Yard
- Pick up trash and keep floors clean in restroom and main dining areas
- Arrange and place tables and chairs back in their proper spots throughout the shift
- Clean and organize the break area throughout the shift
- Clean spills and remove dog bowls as necessary to keep the Yard in good shape
- Watch out for spills during busy times and maintain dry floor and wet floor signs as necessary
- Check in with managers throughout the shift to ask where help is needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
