The company is currently seeking a Truck Driver/Warehouse employee at its Bloomington, Illinois location. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $23, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. The role encompasses key responsibilities in transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory control, operating on a consistent 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
As a Truck Driver/Warehouse employee, you will be responsible for operating a 26-foot straight truck with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,000 pounds to transport cargo safely and efficiently to designated locations. Duties include loading, securing, and unloading cargo, maintaining delivery logs in compliance with federal and state regulations, and communicating with dispatch. In the warehouse, you will utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments, stage and store materials, and prepare orders based on instructions. Inventory control responsibilities require you to monitor stock levels, update inventory systems, ensure compliance with internal controls, and participate in cycle counts and audits.
Ideal candidates will hold a Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record and a valid medical card. Prior experience in truck driving with a focus on safety and reliability is essential, as is the ability to maintain company vehicles and manage time effectively. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are also highly valued. Additional capabilities such as proficiency with Microsoft 365, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, and the physical ability to handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds frequently are beneficial.
