Job Requirements
- CDL-A plus 6 months minimum experience
- at least 21 years of age
- no DUI or drug convictions in the last 5 years
- no felonies in the last 10 years
- no experience necessary for straight trucks or cargo vans
- all drivers and vehicle owners are independent contractors
- truck and financing are through an independent third party
Job Qualifications
- CDL-A license
- minimum 6 months of driving experience for tractor trailers
- ability to work independently as an owner-operator
- strong communication and time management skills
- proficiency in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance
- basic mechanical knowledge is preferred
- experience driving team routes and working with co-drivers
Job Duties
- Operate leased trucks safely and efficiently
- maintain adherence to traffic laws and company policies
- coordinate with dispatch to plan routes and schedules
- ensure timely deliveries of high-value expedite freight
- perform regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- maintain communication with the driver support team
- manage financial obligations related to lease purchase payments
