We are currently seeking a dedicated Truck Driver Recruiter to join our team at the Green Bay location. This is a full-time, on-site position working the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Truck Driver Recruiter will play a crucial role in strengthening Schneider’s driver workforce by building a continuous candidate pipeline through various innovative sourcing techniques. This role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from sourcing candidates, engaging leads, interviewing applicants, to extending job offers. The recruiter will act as a subject matter expert for candidates, providing detailed information about Schneider’s truck driving opportunities and supporting candidates throughout the hiring process.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service standards to ensure a positive candidate experience. Leveraging Schneider’s applicant tracking system, you will review applications and conduct interviews to identify suitable candidates. Your ability to effectively communicate, persuade, and provide timely updates to candidates will directly impact our ability to attract and hire quality truck drivers. Working in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the trucking or transportation sector. An associate degree in business administration, human resources, sales, or a related field is preferred.
