Known for its innovation and commitment to customer satisfaction, Penske Logistics employs state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated workforce to maintain its reputation as a reliable, forward-thinking logistics partner.
Penske Logistics is currently offering immediate full-time employment opportunities for Class A CDL Truck Drivers based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. This role promises an average annual salary of $108,000 with the significant advantage of being home weekly, enabling a healthy work-life balance. This trucking position requires weekend availability and ideally calls for candidates who hold either an enhanced driver’s license or a passport for seamless cross-border operations into Canada.
As a Penske driver, you will operate late-model trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing, featuring some of the industry's best-in-class specifications designed to maximize driver comfort and safety. The trucks come equipped with both inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras aimed at enhancing safety for drivers, freight, and the public. Your primary responsibility will be the delivery of truck tops and camper shells to a variety of customers, managing an average of 6 to 14 stops per week. The job involves using tools like impact guns, saw horses, and pry bars as needed in the course of your duties.
This role offers a structured 5-day workweek with flexible dispatch days from 5 am to 8 am, offering two consecutive days off each week. Penske emphasizes a professional work environment; therefore, maintaining a courteous demeanor when interacting with customers is paramount. Drivers enjoy regular home time every week, contributing to employee satisfaction and retention.
One of the standout aspects of this position is its comprehensive benefits package, active from day one. The package includes paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision plans. In addition, there are provisions for short and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, and a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5000 per qualified referral. Safety-focused professionals will appreciate the dedicated safety incentive program and the prestigious Premier Driver Recognition Program.
Penske Logistics takes pride in fostering a supportive and stable work environment. Working here means joining a team committed not only to safe and timely product delivery but also to professional growth and career advancement. Penske offers extensive training opportunities and the possibility of relocating to various cities thanks to its nationwide presence. Drivers are paid every Friday, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its workforce.
Joining Penske means joining more than just a trucking company; it means becoming part of a network that values professionalism, excellent customer service, and high safety standards. It is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class A CDL truck drivers who are ready to advance their careers with a leading industry player providing top-notch equipment, management, and support.
