Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers to join their dedicated team based in Goodyear, Arizona. This opportunity offers a competitive average annual salary of $64,220 and features a dedicated route with a local schedule that allows drivers to be home daily. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class comfort and safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The role entails performing multi-stop deliveries of automotive parts and supplies to dealerships, utilizing manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages to unload trailers, and using scanners to track deliveries accurately. Drivers will work a consistent five-day schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, averaging 54 hours per week with dispatch times starting between 2:30 am and 2:50 am.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL airbrake endorsement required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is required
  • English language proficiency is required
  • Complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 100lbs
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and cargo area

  • Physically able to see, hear, move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands, and lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally

Job Duties

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
  • Drive late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
  • Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
  • Ensure safety for self and others by working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
