Job Requirements
- Follow all federal and state laws and regulations
- Work the required schedule
- Complete employment application
- Submit to background investigation including past employment and criminal history
- Pass drug screening
- Ability to safely operate motor vehicle and enter/exit vehicle and cargo area frequently
- Meet physical requirements including vision and ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Be compliant with 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2)
- Regular attendance
- English language proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Licensed and domiciled in the U.S.
- Hold or ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years
- Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in last 3 years
- English language proficiency
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
- Regular, predictable attendance
Job Duties
- Drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with safety cameras
- Utilize a flatbed to make a wide range of deliveries
- Average 45 stops per week
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Be home daily with varied weekly schedules
- Work 45 to 60 hours per week
- Comply with all federal and state laws, company guidelines, and safety standards
