Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- licensed in state of residence in the U.S.
- domiciled in the U.S.
- 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years driving record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- able to comply with DOT and company safety regulations
- regular predictable attendance
- English proficiency
- pass background check and drug screening
- physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 100 lbs
- ability to work safely and alert continuously
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- current or ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- compliance with all relevant federal,state laws and regulations
- English language proficiency
- ability to operate commercial motor vehicle safely
Job Duties
- Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products
- deliver all loads locally and be home daily
- operate late model Penske truck leasing vehicles
- adhere to safety and company policies
- participate in safety incentive and driver recognition programs
- maintain communication with dispatch and customers
- follow required schedules and job site procedures
