With a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and customer service, Penske has built a reputation as a stable, nationwide company recognized for its exceptional management and outstanding safety record.

Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers to join their team in Stockton, California. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced drivers looking to work for a prestigious company that values its employees and offers competitive pay with excellent benefits. The position offers an hourly wage of $29.71, with overtime pay starting after eight hours in a day. Drivers will operate late-model Penske trucks equipped with best-in-class specifications designed for driver comfort. The trucks also feature inward and outward facing in-cab cameras, underscoring the company's dedication to safety for its employees and the public.

In this role, drivers will be responsible for delivering palletized groceries to local stores, ensuring timely and professional service. Home daily is a key benefit, with a work schedule comprising five days per week, two consecutive days off, and weekend work required. Dispatch typically begins early in the morning between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m., so candidates must be prepared for early starts. Penske fosters a supportive work environment and offers numerous perks such as paid vacation and holidays starting from day one, generous retirement benefits, comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as life and disability insurance. Additional benefits include company-provided uniforms, employee discount programs, referral bonuses up to $5,000 per referral, safety incentives, and premier driver recognition programs.

Working at Penske means becoming part of a nationwide team committed to delivering freight safely and reliably for some of the world’s most recognized brands. Beyond just driving, Penske drivers represent the company and its clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, reflecting their role as frontline ambassadors. Penske also emphasizes opportunities for career advancement and provides extensive training programs, meaning drivers can grow their skills and even relocate as the company has locations across the country. Drivers are paid weekly and benefit from a stable working environment characterized by clear communication and excellent management support.

This position requires adherence to all federal and state regulations, maintaining a constant state of alertness and safety. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to supporting individuals with disabilities and providing reasonable accommodations to enable job success. The physical demands of this role require the ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds, excellent vision and hearing capabilities, and the ability to frequently move, stand, walk, and enter or exit vehicles and cargo areas safely. Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, current or attainable DOT medical certification, and demonstrate a history of safe, reliable driving experience.

In summary, this Class A CDL truck driver opportunity at Penske Logistics offers a competitive salary, valuable benefits, and a supportive team environment where drivers can maintain a healthy work-life balance and pursue long-term career growth.
