Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Possess or able to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1-2 years documented tractor-trailer experience
- Clean 3-year DMV/MVR record with minimal violations
- Compliance with federal and state transportation laws
- Full, predictable attendance
- English proficiency
- Agree to background check and drug screening
- Physically able to perform heavy lifting up to 100 lbs
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicles
- Commitment to safety and alertness
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- English language proficiency required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
- Ability to accept responsibility for personal and others' safety
Job Duties
- Deliver and unload crates of food to grocery stores
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Complete approximately 40 stops per week
- Operate late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations for commercial driving
- Ensure safety by monitoring in-cab cameras and following safety protocols
- Report to dispatch at noon or 8:30 pm as scheduled
