Operating across multiple continents including North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics excels in increasing supply chain visibility and optimizing costs, helping businesses propel forward efficiently and effectively. The company maintains a strong commitment to safety, service, and innovation, making it a preferred choice for clients and employees alike. With a reputation for excellent equipment, great management, and a fantastic safety record, Penske stands out as a stable, nationwide leader in logistics and transportation services.

This job opportunity is for full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Cheektowaga, NY, with an average annual salary of $82,051. The position requires a Hazmat endorsement upon hire and offers a local driving route where drivers are home daily, providing a strong work-life balance. This role primarily involves no-touch, drop and hook deliveries, minimizing physical handling of freight and making the job more straightforward and safer. Truck drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specifications designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras that enhance safety and accountability.

In this role, drivers will be responsible for multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, averaging about 10 stops per week. The schedule includes dispatch times starting at 4 PM with a five-day workweek averaging 55 hours weekly. This role demands professional handling of deliveries, impeccable safety practices, and maintaining excellent customer service standards to represent Penske and its clients positively. Penske emphasizes career growth, offering extensive training opportunities and the possibility to transfer locations across its nationwide network, enabling employees to align their career ambitions with their personal life goals.

The company values its drivers and provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays beginning day one, generous retirement benefits, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as short and long-term disability insurance, life and AD & D coverage. Additional perks include company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, an employee discount program, safety incentive programs, driver referral bonuses up to $5000, and a premier driver recognition program. Penske expects all employees to comply with federal Department of Transportation regulations, maintain a safe work environment, and demonstrate a high level of responsibility for their safety and the safety of others.

Penske Logistics offers a career path for individuals seeking stability, professional growth, and a supportive work culture. Working as a CDL Class A Truck Driver at Penske means joining a professional team committed to delivering excellence daily while enjoying the rewards of a stable income, excellent benefits, and a home-daily schedule in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
