Job Requirements
- two years of driving experience
- two years of a clean dmv motor vehicle record
- valid class b cdl
- applicants must be domiciled in the u.s. and licensed in their state of residence
- cdl class a license preferred
- ability to read and follow written instructions
- ability to work independently
- customer service skills
- organizational skills
- positive attitude
- compliance with federal law requiring english proficiency
- regular predictable full attendance
- maintain a current driver qualification file including motor vehicle records check, dot physical, safety history, drug screening, and fmca clearinghouse review as applicable
- willingness to travel
- work required schedule and location
- complete penske employment application
- submit to background and drug screening investigations

Job Duties
- follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of penske location or customer locations
- check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found
- obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
- report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
