Working as a Hiker at Penske requires a strong commitment to safety, responsibility, and customer service. The role entails following all safety procedures while transporting vehicles, performing vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety readiness, obtaining delivery receipts and signatures, reporting vehicle defects or accidents, and completing other tasks assigned by supervisors. Penske is especially dedicated to maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. This position is regulated by DOT and includes maintaining a current driver qualification file comprising annual MVR checks, DOT Physicals, safety performance records, and drug screenings.

Employees in this role benefit from working in a reputable company widely known in the transportation industry. The company also emphasizes the physical and mental capabilities required to perform this role successfully, including specific vision standards, the ability to lift and move heavy items, and the physical ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles.

Joining Penske as a Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver means becoming part of a global transportation network that values safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
