Under the supervision of the warehouse foreman, this professional will be required to execute scheduled deliveries with precision, ensuring that groceries, meats, bakery items, and other foodstuffs arrive safely and on time to their destinations. The Food Service Truck Driver must conduct thorough weekly vehicle pre-trip inspections and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the loading areas and yard. Physical agility is a key requirement, as lifting and carrying items ranging from 1 to over 60 pounds and continuous walking and standing are part of the job's regular duties. The person in this role also needs to be versatile and willing to assist with warehouse duties or cooler/freezer stocking when needed. The position offers a starting wage of $14.36 per hour, with individual salary determination based on experience, alongside a work year of 226 days.
