Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license and be insurable by the District
- preferred high school graduate or GED
- preferred basic 2-way radio communications
- preferred 1-year truck driving experience
- able to communicate with Food Service office personnel, cafeteria, and contract warehouse personnel
- relate positively to others
- ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals
- ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed
- exhibit professionalism
- maintain professional appearance and appropriate attire
- demonstrate good judgment and knowledge of District policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Drive a truck
- perform weekly pre-trip inspection
- count, record, load, and deliver groceries, food, meat, and bakery products as scheduled
- make any extra deliveries as necessary
- assist in unloading and stocking merchandise in warehouse and cooler/freezer
- clean loading area and yard
- unload truck
- return equipment to proper storage area
- assist in warehouse and cooler/freezer
- lift or carry 1 to 60 lbs frequently, 61 and more lbs occasionally
- bend, stoop, work with machinery frequently, reach above shoulder level occasionally, drive equipment/vehicles continuously
- climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and scaffolds occasionally
- walk and stand continuously, sit occasionally
- paint in summer
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
