The role under consideration is for a vehicle operator responsible for the safe collection, transport, and delivery of donated goods for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay. The position is based in South San Francisco, California, with a competitive pay starting at $23.00 per hour. Job Requirements
- Valid Class C California driver license
- minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- California DMV record no older than 30 days
- current motor vehicle record free of citation convictions except parking within past 3 years
- possession of Department of Transportation medical card
- ability to read maps and use company-issued communication devices
- pass pre-employment Department of Transportation drug test
- excellent customer service skills
- availability to work weekends and early mornings
- ability and willingness to lift at least 25 pounds
- knowledge and respect for diverse cultures, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and age groups
Job Qualifications
- Possession of valid Class C California driver license with a clean record

Job Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to collect, transport, and deliver donated goods and merchandise
- safeguard donations to prevent damage during shipment
- assist with unloading merchandise while minimizing damage
- courteously handle customer concerns and escalate when necessary
- follow all established policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- perform daily vehicle maintenance checks
- ensure daily work requirements are met with quality and efficiency
- possibly work overtime to complete tasks
- comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment at all times
- unload vehicles and move items as needed
- provide basic direction to truck helper when applicable
- maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance

- perform other related duties as assigned
