Currently, Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Driver to join their team on a full-time basis. This vehicle operator will be responsible for the safe collection, transportation, and delivery of donated goods, processed merchandise, and other materials essential to the organization’s operations. The Driver must strictly adhere to safety policies, utilize all required personal protective equipment, and maintain daily vehicle maintenance checks to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

In this role, the Driver will serve as a crucial link between donors and the Goodwill stores and processing centers. Safeguarding donated goods from damage while handling and during shipment is a significant priority. Additionally, the Driver will assist with the unloading of merchandise, ensuring minimal damage to donated materials, while continuously providing courteous and effective customer service. The position requires excellent communication skills for interacting with a diverse customer base and resolving or escalating concerns when necessary. The Driver will also be tasked with following all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertinent to commercial driving, maintaining consistent attendance, and potentially working overtime to complete assignments.
