Penske Logistics operates with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service, making it a preferred employer for professional drivers and logistics personnel.
This full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver position, based in Fort Pierce, Florida, offers an annual average salary of $91,234 and features a drop and hook operation with 2 to 3 layovers required. The role involves regional travel to various locations, delivering multi-stop shipments of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Drivers will be expected to unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and utilize scanners to track products during delivery. The schedule includes a dispatch time around 12:31 pm, a rotating 4 to 6-day work week, and an average of 50 to 65 hours per week.
Penske provides late model trucks maintained by the company, equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for drivers and others on the road. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that includes paid vacation and holidays from day one, retirement plans, excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, as well as employee discount programs and referral bonuses up to $5,000. Additionally, the company offers safety incentives and a premier driver recognition program that celebrates top performance.
Working at Penske means joining a team dedicated to professionalism, safety, and customer service. Drivers represent not just Penske but also the clients they serve, often operating branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. The company supports career growth with extensive training opportunities and flexible relocation options within its nationwide operations. Penske is committed to maintaining a stable and supportive work environment characterized by excellent management, clear communication, and a stellar safety record, with timely weekly paychecks every Friday.
This position requires drivers to be compliant with all federal and state regulations, including possessing a valid Class A CDL, a DOT medical card, and maintaining a clean driving record.
