The company prides itself on delivering reliable, efficient, and safe transportation services for many of the world’s leading brands. Penske stands out not only for its strong commitment to operational excellence but also for its focus on employee development and safety, creating a dynamic workplace where drivers can grow their careers.
We are currently seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team in Goodyear, AZ. This role offers an average annual salary of approximately $95,969 and requires a Hazmat endorsement from day one. Drivers will operate late-model trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing, featuring best-in-class specifications designed to enhance both comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for drivers and others on the road.
As a CDL Class A Truck Driver at Penske Logistics, you will be tasked with multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You will work various dedicated accounts and shifts as needed, typically experiencing 2 to 3 layovers per week. Your typical schedule includes a rotating pattern with four days of work one week and six days the following week, starting with an 11 PM dispatch. You will utilize manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages to unload trailers and will scan products during delivery to maintain accuracy and inventory control.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and adherence to safety standards. Penske values its drivers as ambassadors who represent both the company and its clients while providing exceptional customer service. You will wear branded uniforms and possibly drive trucks bearing client logos, reinforcing the importance of your role in the broader supply chain.
Penske Logistics offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support drivers from day one. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement plans, and excellent healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance. The company also provides short and long-term disability insurance, life and AD&D insurance, and uniforms. Additional perks include an employee discount program, driver referral bonuses up to $5000 per referral, a safety incentive program, and recognition through the Premier Driver Recognition Program.
Joining Penske means becoming part of a stable, nationwide company with a fantastic safety record, clear communication, and great management.
