This role is for full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Denver, Colorado. Drivers will operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward facing in-cab cameras for enhanced safety. The position offers an attractive pay rate of $33 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours, resulting in an average W2 income of $80,000 annually. The schedule consists of two runs per week (Sunday to Monday and Wednesday to Thursday) with Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays off. Dispatch occurs at 5 PM. The primary duties involve delivering bakery and food products to retail stores, with about two layovers per week.

Job Requirements

  • Work the scheduled runs Sunday to Monday and Wednesday to Thursday
  • Be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Submit to background checks including past employment, education, and criminal history
  • Pass drug screening
  • Meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter and exit the vehicle and cargo area
  • Regular, predictable full attendance
  • Comply with DOT regulations (49 CFR 391.11(b)(2))

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
  • Ability to obtain and hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in 3 years
  • Ability to comply with federal and state laws and regulations
  • English language proficiency
