Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join its dynamic team based in Peoria, Arizona. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $27.32 with overtime available after 40 hours, providing a lucrative opportunity in the trucking industry. Truck drivers will operate late-model Penske Truck Leasing vehicles, which are equipped with best-in-class features aimed at comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Typically home daily with occasional overnight layovers in New Mexico, drivers will enjoy a schedule from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM dispatch depending on the route, averaging 40 to 55 hours per week.

In this position, drivers will handle light touch freight using a manual pallet jack and deliver top-tier customer service while representing Penske and its prestigious clientele. The role involves regular, predictable attendance and adherence to all federal and state regulations, making it suitable for responsible and safety-conscious individuals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Minimum of one year tractor-trailer driving experience in last three years or two years in five years
  • Clean driving record for past three years
  • Must comply with federal and state transportation laws and regulations
  • Ability to attend work regularly and on time
  • English proficiency
  • Completion of background check and drug screening
  • Ability to maintain alertness and work safely
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Legal eligibility to operate a motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U. S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • One year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last three years or two years in the last five years
  • Three years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Ability to follow federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work the required schedule and location
  • Successful completion of background and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and accept responsibility for safety
