Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement required within 30 days of hire
- Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in past 3 years
- Comply with federal and state laws and regulations
- Regular predictable full attendance
- English language proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to maintain constant alertness and safe work conduct
- Ability to legally operate motor vehicle and enter/exit vehicle and cargo area
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and state laws regulations and agency rules standards and guidelines
- English language proficiency required
- Ability to work the required schedule and location
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness
Job Duties
- Drive late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort
- complete routes with multi-store deliveries
- unload trailers using pallet jacks
- adhere to Monday through Friday schedule
- dispatch between 10 pm and 1 am
- represent Penske and its clients professionally
- comply with all federal and state laws regulations and agency rules
