With a strong emphasis on state-of-the-art technology and superior customer service, Penske supports market-leading companies by increasing supply-chain visibility and reducing associated costs. As a part of its commitment to excellence, Penske Logistics employs a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about transportation safety, efficiency, and reliability. The company prides itself on maintaining a strong safety record, providing best-in-class equipment, and fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
Penske currently has immediate full-time opportunities for Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Naperville, Illinois. This role offers an average annual salary of $75,400, reflecting the company’s investment in skilled drivers. The position is structured for a Monday through Friday schedule with a 9:30 AM dispatch time, allowing drivers to be home daily, which is a highly valued aspect of this job. Drivers will shuttle goods from Naperville to Milwaukee, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to various retail stores.
This role demands both skill and responsibility, as drivers are expected to operate late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with advanced comfort and safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Drivers will manually unload trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages while utilizing scanning technology to track inventory during deliveries. The company encourages adherence to all federal and state transportation laws, emphasizing the importance of safety and compliance.
Penske promotes a career path that values continuous learning and growth, offering extensive training opportunities and the possibility to relocate across multiple locations nationwide. Their equipment is known for being top-notch, ensuring drivers work with reliable, safe, and comfortable vehicles. The company also supports drivers with a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation and holidays from day one, retirement benefits, excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with disability and life insurance options. Additional perks include company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, employee discount programs, and incentives such as referral bonuses and safety recognition programs.
As a Penske driver, you represent not just the company but also the clients whose branded trucks you may drive and uniforms you may wear. The role is crucial in maintaining Penske’s reputation for excellent customer service and dependable delivery performance. If you have the required qualifications and a commitment to safety and professionalism, this position presents a rewarding opportunity to advance your trucking career with a stable and respected industry leader.
