Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 0-6 months commercial tractor/trailer experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 21 years of age
- Meet all state licensing or certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug and road tests
- Valid current or attainable DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases weighing 10-90 pounds

Job Duties
- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local, shuttle, overnight, and drive and drop routes safely and timely
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Perform pre and post-trip safety inspections and report issues
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer load for proper securing and count items against invoices
- Complete accurate and legible freight paperwork
- Attach preloaded trailers at loading docks
- Deliver customer orders according to schedule
- Unload products and transport to designated storage areas
- Perform damage control checks and report to supervisor
- Verify delivery and obtain customer signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Ensure all equipment and freight are secured
- Unload damaged goods and complete necessary paperwork
- Maintain clean tractor, loading dock, and trailers
- Complete daily hours of service log
- Perform related duties as assigned
