The Route Driver position at Core-Mark involves delivering essential food and food-related products using tractor-trailers or straight trucks on various routes such as intrastate, interstate, shuttle, overnight, and drive and drop routes. This role requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards, ensuring timely and safe delivery to customers while maintaining professional communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers. The position demands physical capability for lifting and moving product cases of varying weights and sizes, from approximately 10 pounds up to 90 pounds, using equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates.

This full-time role operates Sunday through Thursday, with a typical shift beginning at 6:00 PM and continuing until the delivery route is completed. The compensation is competitive, offering $1,500 weekly for a five-day workweek. Core-Mark values team collaboration, attention to detail, safety, and reliability. Employees are expected to perform general housekeeping of tractors, loading dock areas, and trailers to maintain cleanliness and organization. Core-Mark also emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and company requirements for hours of service logs and other regulatory paperwork. The company embraces equal employment opportunity practices, fostering a workplace free of discrimination and supporting diversity. Overall, the Route Driver position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s distribution network and sustaining its reputation as the industry leader in convenience retail solutions.
