The Driver - SCM role at Core-Mark is pivotal in supporting the company’s mission to deliver food and food-related products efficiently and safely to its customers. This position involves operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road, shuttle, and drive-and-drop routes. This is a full-time, local driving position offering a highly competitive compensation package with a minimum weekly pay of $1,250 and the potential to earn $65,000 or more annually. Drivers enjoy the benefit of being home nightly with local routes and weekends off, working Monday through Friday shifts with early morning dispatch times between 3:00 am and 6:00 am. The role is designed to offer stability and work-life balance while performing essential duties that support the backbone of America’s food distribution system.
Core-Mark fosters a culture focused on health and wellness, offering employees day-one health and wellness benefits, employee stock purchase plans, 401(k) employer matching programs, education assistance, paid time off, and more. The company promotes an environment where safety is paramount and inclusivity is encouraged, underscoring its commitment to providing equal employment opportunities for all qualified individuals regardless of background or identity.
Overall, the Driver - SCM position at Core-Mark represents an excellent opportunity for experienced commercial drivers looking for a stable and rewarding career within the food distribution industry.
